How we handle your enquiry

When you submit a parts enquiry, we collect your contact details, vehicle details, optional VIN and optional photo. We use them to find and verify a part, prepare a quote and follow up on your request.

The website assistant uses OpenAI to generate replies. Chat messages are sent to OpenAI for processing and are not saved in our enquiry database. Do not enter a VIN or contact details in chat. When the site owner runs the sourcing agent, it sends the vehicle year, make, model, requested part and optional part number to OpenAI for web research. Customer names, contact details and VINs are excluded from that search.

Enquiries and photos are stored in our site hosting and accessible to the site owner. They may be processed outside New Zealand. We do not publish your contact details or VIN on your request-status page. Anyone with your private status link can see the requested part and any quote, so keep the link safe.

If you create a returning-customer login, we store your email, a securely derived password value and a session record. Your password itself is not stored. The account shows enquiries submitted with the same email address. You can sign out at any time.

If you request a password reset, we create a one-time token that expires after 30 minutes and use our email provider to send the reset link. The token is stored only in hashed form.

If you enable multi-factor authentication, we store an encrypted authenticator secret and require a time-based code during login. The secret is not shared with the authenticator provider by EuroParts NZ.

We record anonymous daily page-view totals to understand which parts of the site are used. These totals do not store IP addresses, advertising identifiers or private request tokens.

We keep enquiry information while it is needed to handle your request and any resulting order or legal record. You can ask to see, correct or delete your information by using the form below. We will review each request and respond using the email address you provide.

We do not use your details for marketing. This page does not collect payment information.
